Exactly in the centre of Parma, in Via Della
Repubblica, there is a family who run delicatessen with
a pleasantly retrò atmosphere that is an authentic
monument to the pleasure of eating.
Inside this shop of delicacies, there are a lot of
extraordinarily good things on show. All carefully
selected titbits.
And, naturally, the agricoltural produce from the
generous lands of Emilia are prominent: parmesan
cheese, supreme "culatelli", hams that melt in mouth,
daily made pasta as tradition commands.
Parmesan cheese reminds tastes of the past. What say
about the succulent hams and culatelli that only come
from haunches of our swine.
